In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 119, Sukuna reveals the full nature of his cursed technique. He uses two types of slashes: Dismantle, a normal cutting attack, and Cleave, a stronger slash that adjusts to an enemy’s toughness to deal lethal damage.
To defeat Mahoraga, Sukuna activates his Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine. Unlike other domains, it doesn’t trap enemies inside a barrier. Instead, it covers a wide area and automatically slashes everything within range.
To limit the damage, Sukuna uses a Binding Vow to reduce the domain’s range to 140 meters. Even so, the destruction is massive. Endless slashes tear through Mahoraga and the surrounding area, tragically killing everyone caught inside — including civilians who had been rescued earlier.
